We Tour · We Fellowship · We Transform
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
(Proverbs 19:21, NIV)
King Henry VIII’s greatest desire was to have a son to inherit the throne. In pursuit of this goal, he went so far as to defy the traditions of the Church and sought to annul his marriage to Catherine. This was human planning, human anxiety, and human striving — just as the Scripture says.
And yet, what prevailed was not man’s will, but God’s higher purpose. Years later, Queen Elizabeth I, having remained unmarried and childless, left the throne to an unexpected heir: James VI of Scotland. Raised in a land largely untouched by the dominance of Roman Catholic power, James brought with him the influence of Protestant theology — shaped by Martin Luther, John Calvin, and the Scottish Presbyterian tradition. He not only inherited the English crown but also initiated the translation and publication of the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, bringing God’s Word into the hands of the common people.
From man’s schemes to God’s accomplishment — from William Tyndale’s dying prayer at the stake, “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes,” to the spreading light of the gospel crossing the Atlantic on the Mayflower and later reaching the ends of the earth through the expansion of the British Empire — this was no coincidence. It was God’s sovereign design unfolding through history.
The ground we walk on today is not merely a site of sightseeing, but a living witness to how biblical faith shaped nations and how God’s Word transforms civilization. As the verse reminds us: It is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
These are not just tours — they are journeys of the soul.
As we walk through cathedrals, museums, colleges, and revival sites, we do more than see — we fellowship in truth, share in prayer, reflect on Scripture, and open our hearts to God’s voice in history.
Britain holds a unique place in Christian history: it is where faith was rooted in the Bible, where the Word of God confronted superstition, and where truth gave birth to transformation. From “I was blind, but now I see,” these tours invite seekers and believers alike to walk the path from knowledge to revelation, from religion to living faith.
